Plan To Eat is an online menu-planning, recipe-organizing, shopping-list-creating service that is AWESOME. It is changing my life.
I started out simply by adding some of my own recipes. I love using the cooking view while I cook and being able to change the number of servings I want to cook. Plan To Eat does all the calculations so I don’t worry about getting myself all mixed up and adding way too much salt, or sage, or lemon juice…
Next I added the recipe-clipping button to my browser and started searching the Internet for recipes I wanted to try. Whenever I find one, I just the clip recipe button and Plan To Eat finds the recipe on the page and pulls it into my Plan To Eat recipe book.
After this I played around with planning my meals ahead of time and then generating my shopping list based on my plans. I am getting better and better at this. Now that I am doing Bright Line Eating, I am working on creating a month-long menu plan based on the Bright Line Eating weight loss plan. When I get that done, I will share it here.
I have also shared my recipes with friends through the “friend” feature in Plan To Eat.
I love this thing so much that I’ve been telling lots of friends about it. I have even given it as a gift to a good friend – after she tried it out with the 30-day free trial and decided she really would use it. She continues to use it now, months later, and gushes over how much it has helped her with her planning. When I realized that Plan To Eat had an affiliate program, I signed up. So, if you decide to sign up, a little bit of that will come my way. It won’t change the cost to you one bit.
You can check out Plan To Eat for free for 30 days. They won’t even take a credit card. If you like it, you can pay about $5 a month or about $39 for a year. Even if you don’t join after your trial, you can still print out all the recipes you entered or clipped so you won’t lose them. This is a small family-run business and I have found them to be very responsive and very honorable.

And, here is an open invitation to anyone doing the Bright Line Eating weight loss plan to “friend” me and share all the recipes I have adapted to the BLE guidelines. If you grab all my recipes during your 30 day free trial, it won’t cost you a dime.
